So I never posted last week. I was at 200 even with 18.8 more miles logged. That was up two pounds from the week before. This week I am at 199 with 19.4miles logged. For a total of 106 miles and a 5 pound loss. I am happy with that. I got my period last week and had a cold on top of that so I did not work out on Friday, Saturday or Sunday or Monday. I finally worked out yesterday and I worked out this morning, finishing workout #12 on the wii more workouts and then I did a customized workout with squash and boxing. I got 30 for a rally in Squash. My best so far.
So after my workout this morning I took my shower and I noticed that my belly fat is smaller. Yeah. So even if I have only lost 5 pounds since we started this I have gotten healthier and I am seeing results. We all have our bad days and it is hard to make good choices with it being Christmas time but we are really trying. We usually make some different candies at this time of year and we decided we don't need it around so we aren't making them. We have done some Christmas cookies and will do more but we are doing exchanges and we brought our cookies to a family party last weekend so we would have help eating them. We are trying to remove temptation.
I got my bacon package last week. I have tried the bacconnaise once so far and thought it was good. We have tried the bacon salt on a few things and I had the bacon pop last night, bacon popcorn that is. It was good. I am so thankful for the sisterhood and the support I get. You ladies rock. I love to read the posts and see that others are having a hard time too or struggling just like me. I am so happy to have the wii challenge too because it makes me workout and be active.

Weigh In Thursday
Good morning. I didn't weigh in yesterday as I just never found the time. But I weighted in this morning and I have lost 6 pounds since last week. Yeah. I am at 198, I am below 200. I have lost a total of 6 pounds for the challenge. Yeah. I am soo happy. I really tried to make good choices with the holiday. I have really tried to stay away from soda and to make better snack choices. Yesterday we had dentist apts in the afternoon and after we went to the mall and did some shopping and ate at the mall. I got Rocky Rococo's pizza and split the breadsticks with the family. I haven't had them in sooo long. They weren't as good as I remembered, I wish I had gotten the subway sub I was going to get instead. Soo...my thinking is really starting to change too. I also bought those skinny cow ice cream sandwiches that April talked about last week on the hood and they are pretty good. So I am down 6 and have logged another 20.2 miles since last week. I am off to workout before my first daycare family gets here.

Must have been the traveling!!?
Well here it is another weigh in wednesday and I am up 4 pounds. I didn't think it would be a good week but I didn't think it would be so much. I did weigh myself later in the day than last week but I still gained something. I can tell you lots of reasons why. I think it was because of going to Milwaukee area for the weekend with my boys. We ate out on Friday at the cafe at target and I had pizza hut. No soda, milk. Then that night my mom made yummy chicken quesadillas. Then Saturday we went for a super long walk, I got almost 7000 steps on our walk. Then I made hm carrot cakes for the birthday party and then hm cream cheese frosting and cowboy spaghetti (from Rachel Ray) I only had one piece of the cake and thought I ate well but.... Then that night we had mcdonalds', i had a cheeseburger with a few fries but no soda. Sunday morning we went out to eat with my dad at Old Country Buffet. Lunch was leftovers at my moms before we headed home. Also last week I made peanut butter cookies for church to be sent to some soldiers in Iraq, so of course those were around the house too. So I guess I do know what the problem was, poor eating choices. I did buy the EA sports active, more workouts for the Wii and did it on Monday night and tuesday night. I think I will go and do it now even though today is supposed to be a rest day. I really like it. I will try to make some better choices this weekend but it will be really hard with Thanksgiving tomorrow. I will get some extra workouts in. I hope to have some better numbers next week.

So today is another weigh in Wednesday and I lost again. Yeah. I can't believe it. So I am at 200lbs even with a lose of 2.2 lbs. The wii fit guy yelled at me for losing too much too quickly. =) I didn't even know how it would be since I have my period this week and haven't been working out like last week. I did the shred 4 days last week. Did not workout at all on Sat or Sun except for getting groceries, etc. Then I finally walked on the treadmill this morning for 1 mile, but it was less than 20 minutes so a little improved from last week. We have been really trying to watch what we eat and how much. We have stopped snacking before bed and just been ignoring our bodies when they try to tell us we should eat at that time. We found a great breakfast idea in the biggest loser cookbook with yogurt, apples, raisins and grape nuts. I ordered the hungry girl cookbooks from the library, haven't gotten them yet but I am sure we will find some good ideas in those as well.
I won the bacon giveway on the sisterhood. I am pretty excited to win something. I would have loved to win the wii active game but this is pretty cool too. I am going to Milwaukee on Friday morning with the boys by myself for the weekend. We are having a joint birthday party for Sam, who will be 10 and my nieces, Nyanna who will be 9 and Ellery who will be 1. So I don't know how much exercising I will get in as my parents have a very small house but I will bring my shredding video and hand weights and we will see.

Today is Wednesday weigh in and I just weighed in on the Wii fit and I am down 2.6 pounds from a week in a half ago. Yeah. I have walked 5 miles between Monday and Tuesday so far. I did the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred on monday and tuesday night. I am feeling better and sleeping great. I am very sore especially my thighs and shoulders but well worth it. The boys did the workout with Tom on Monday night and with me last night. They obviously don't do all of it correctly but they want to do it too so why not? I went shopping for groceries last weekend and I bought whole wheat tortillas and no one complained, well Sam did a little but they all ate them, even the daycare kids. I have been doing the whole wheat noodles for awhile. I tried to be more aware of what I was buying and if it was necessary or not. I also bought oatmeal and cream of wheat for breakfast instead of just cereal all the time. I mean we do the oatmeal and cream of wheat but it is usually on the weekends.
I have done like 4 loads of wash today, stripped our bed and the boys. Kids are all down for a nap. I should scoot and do my bulletin for church on Sunday too. Have a great weekend.

So I finally weighed in on Sunday night and I was at 204. I then did play on the Wii Fit for about 25 minutes after that. Monday and Tuesday I didn't get any real exercise in but today we went for a 25 minute walk this morning and then I raked leaves for the kids to jump in. I am trying to watch what we eat more but is has been really hard with Halloween Candy all over. My husband went through it all today. Three kids got way too much candy and good stuff this year not just the cheap stuff. I requested the Biggest Loser cookbook from the library, because someone on the Hood was talking it up, we get it today. I am hoping to find some good recipes in it that we already do but switch it up to be healthier. We watched biggest loser last night, thought it was a good show. Bought the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred about a month ago and have not opened it yet. my husband brought it downstairs a few nights ago. I think we might try it out tonight after the kids go to bed. I am not going to weigh myself because I don't think it has changed since Sunday. Hope to be more active as the week goes on.
